-Does have energy, and only expresses it when something gets him really happy, or somethings really interesting to him.
-A little talkative once he gets used to you.
-Inviting, yet timid around new people/cats.
-Can be very cuddly, and affectionate.
-Can be adventurous.
-Easily gets nervous, shy, and embarrassed. Mostly nervous when asked a lot of questions at once and when around a lot of people at once.
-Doesn't like being forced to do things, which will make him more timid and nervous around you.

History: Pennly was born from two, poor money wise, shapeshifting Nekomimi parents. Being that Pennly was an unexpected child, they weren't prepared to care for him.
Time and money struggles through the years, but they tried to do their best raising Pennly, homeschooling him because they couldn't afford for him to go to school and trying to devote as much time to him as they could.

When Pennly was about 4-years-old, they came to realize that they just had no way to care for a child in their life the way it currently was. They didn't know much about orphanages, so they sort of just went to the nearest one, explained their situation and gave their child to the orphanage.

Soon after arriving, there was a human boy around the age of 10-years-old. He had been there for a little while, it seemed, and he was sent back from a family yet again. He wasn't a troubled child, just.. a little low on luck.

When Pennly was 5-years-old, he started to notice how the 7 year older boy, being 11, would try to make friends, and protect other kids from the rather abusive orphanage care takers. After a few saves on Pennly, and from bullies that picked on him for having a little cat like tendencies, or how nervous and shy he was around others, they started to become friends, regardless of the boy, known as Alec, new lable of being 'violent.'

Once Pennly was 7-years-old, him and Alec, being 13-years-old, had become pretty close friends. Sadly enough, by this time, Alec had started to sneak out in the night to do street fighting, telling Pennly about his wins, or how he earned a nickname 'Ace' or how much money he got for them, wanting enough so they could leave the orphanage eventually.

When Pennly turned 10, a lone young woman came into the orphanage, looking to adopt. When she picked Pennly, he said how he didn't want to go without Alec, the boy now being 16. The girl thought about it, but then agreed, and adopted them both, introducing herself as Isano. A state policewoman.

As the boys grew together, Isano taught them personal self defense. Pennly wasn't much of a fighter, but Alec caught on very quickly.
By this point, the two boys were sent off to school. Pennly was nervous, being alone, or around so many different people daily, but the welcome home was nice. They could both tell that Isano cared for them like they were her own children, which made the boys feel at home, and she delt with their differency very well.

Once Pennly was 12, Alec 18. Pennly heard that Alec was attacked by a jealous classmate, putting him in the hospital for awhile, earning a large cut/gash scar on his right side. By this point, Pennly was paranoid. For Alec's graduation, Isano gave Alec an Everitt combat fighting knuckle knife to help protect him and teach him knife fighting. Pennly was curious over the weapon and would watch them train.

After Pennly was 13, Alec 19, they heard that Isano was killed in action. Alec being the only adult, he took costidy over Pennly, and had to get a job of his own.
Alec was never the happiest person, but was caring, and after all he had been through, he was just sort of emotionally disconected, unless it was to Pennly. Which the Nekomimi appreciated in his own way.

So, Alec got a job as a security guard for things like concerts, festivals, around stores when needed, etc. It paid the bills and was something he knew he could do, so it worked out. Still keeping the nickname 'Ace.'

Pennly was still teased for having little cat like tendencies, how nervous and shy he was around others, coming across as weak growing up, and it made him rather insecure.

After Penny was getting into highschool, Alec was contacted by a representative at the school called Bakeneko Gakuen on an island named Nekojima. Knowing that Pennly would be able to be around his own kind, not get teased for how he was, and learn more about his kind, he decided for them to move there. Pennly didn't object, as he was rather excited. But, in order for Alec to go with him, he had to have his own form to blend in with them, given that the island was secret from humans. So, he took that step further to be around for Pennly and took on the shapeshifting form of a Siamese cat.

So, when Pennly was 16, and Alec 22, they moved to the island, enrolling Pennly in the school, and Alec getting a new job working as a cop. Pennly wanted a job as well, but he didn't really have the social skills for it.
Aside from that, he was happy to be around people of his own race, being freely in his cat and Nekomimi form, reminding him of when he was with his parents. Sort of. He wasn't teased for how he was, he could learn more about his kind, and live safely.

They've been there a year now, and it still has taken Pennly awhile to get used to it all, as the same was for Alec for having ears and a tail. Pennly 17 now, and Alec being 23.
